Kolkata's first sports bar — originally sanctioned as a residential and office development, then converted for commercial use in collaboration with Sourav Ganguly, then Captain of the Indian Cricket team. With the RCC frame already standing, JCC redesigned and relocated the elevator shaft and completed the project in 3 to 4 months.
Originally sanctioned as a G+4 residential and office development, the project pivoted mid-construction to create Kolkata's first sports bar.
With the RCC structural frame already standing, the entire elevator shaft arrangement had to be redesigned and relocated, and the project required a sanctioning conversion from residential to commercial use.
J.C. Chakraborty & Sons handled supervision, structural engineering, Project Management Consultancy and complete interior detailing, adapting the structure rather than rebuilding it. The work was completed in 3 to 4 months.
